Benton County Fire Protection District No. 4 is placing a proposition before
the voters on the August 4, 2026, ballot authorizing the District to restore its
2026 regular property tax levy to $1.50 per $1,000.00 of assessed valuation for
collection in 2027 and establishing 6 percent growth factor for each of the
following nine years.

The deadline for appointing the committees is May 1, 2026. Citizens
interested in participating, please contact Fire Chief Paul Carlyle at 509-967-
2645 no later than April 30, 2026.
