Drone program

Thanks to generous donations by Battelle which operates Pacific Northwest National Laboratory for the U.S. Department of Energy, and Hanford Mission Integration Solutions, BCFD4 has been able to purchase an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) drone equipped with high resolution visible light and infrared cameras.

This technology will provide emergency incident commanders an “eye in the sky” to keep track of rapidly developing fire incidents, search and rescue, and other applications.
