Meet firefighters and medical responders at Open House on October 14

Learn more about your fire district and enjoy free food and fun activities for the family

WEST RICHLAND, WASH. – Benton County Fire District 4 invites the community to meet their local firefighters and medical personnel at an Open House on Saturday, October 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire Station 420, located at 2604 Bombing Range Road.

Bring your family and friends and see how your tax dollars work to keep the community safe. Meet your local firefighters, medical personnel, and fire chief. There will be goodies and prizes for kids and information tables representing other local service agencies in the area.

Open House activities include:

• Fire station tours
• Truck tours
• Extrication demonstration in real-time with a helicopter
• Home fire safety tips
• Spray water station with fire hose
• Face painting
• Car seat demonstration
• CPR station
• Live fire extinguisher station
• Electrical safety demonstration
